AND THEN PLAY WITH YOUR HEART" "MESSAGE FROM THE BENCH" THE COACHING STAFF WISH TO WELCOME THE PLAYERS FOR THE 2009 SEASON. FOR 2009 THE INTERMEDIATE ROSTER IS FULL. WE HAVE 2 GOALIES AND 18 RUNNERS, A FIRST. WE HAVE 10 PLAYERS FROM LAST YEARS INTERMEDIATES AND 10 PLAYERS THAT HAVE MOVED IN. THREE OF THE PLAYERS HAVE NEVER PLAYED LACROSSE BEFORE, SEE IF YOU CAN PICK THEM OUT, IT WILL BE A CHALLENGE. SINCE THIS IS ONLY OUR THIRD YEAR, WE ARE STILL JUST GETTING SETTLED IN. THE COACHES EFFORTS THIS YEAR WILL BE ON DEVELOPMENT AND TEAM EFFORT, ALONG WITH HAVING A GOOD TIME. IF WE SHOULD WIN A FEW GAMES ALONG THE WAY, SO MUCH THE BETTER. WELCOME TO THE 2009 INTERMEDIATES AND LETS HAVE A GOOD YEAR "PLAY SMART" CONGRATULATIONS ON PROVINCIALS !!!!!! After eight games in two and a half days they all start to blend together. I am going to give a brief overview of our "Provincials". Anyone owing for the tickets, please bring the money to Clayton's get-together as the monies should be turned in now so they can book the meals. Gerry WMLA BANQUET - AUGUST 30, 2009 - 3:00 PM The 2009 banquet will be held at the Oaks Inn, Wallaceburg from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A "Hot Buffet" will be served consisting of chicken, pasta, potato, salad, dessert, pop tea and coffee. Ticket prices will be $13.00 adult and $10.00 age 6 and under. Contact Gerry for the tickets. A limited number will be available at the door. PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT May 21/90 - In light of the recent serious injury to a Red Devil player and effective immediately for all games and practices, Intermediate players will wear a "cup" for protection.
